Edward Romero Terrace is a gated community with security cameras. There are gardening spaces for the residents. There are trash chutes on each floor and a trash room on first floor. There are great views from common areas on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Sandia Mountains to the east.

There is a spacious community room, a cozy library, with books donated by the Romero family, a small gym and washers and dryers on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors which are free for the residents’ use.

There are big box stores (Walmart, Sam’s, Home Depot) and lots of small corner stores all in walking distance or by bus. There are bus stops across the street from the building and on the side of the building that will take you to shopping areas along historic Route 66. There is also an International District nearby which offers foods and spices from all over the world.
