The Governor Apartments is a 56 unit, elderly community on the East Side of Providence. Omni Development Corp. owns the one bedroom and efficiency homes contained in the 1800’s constructed convent. Our community room has the original Tiffany Stained glass windows which add to the charm of the building. Building amenities include an on-site laundry, computer learning center and on-site professional management. Located on the East Side of Providence, there are many shops, restaurants and shopping plazas within walking distance that also deliver. Local supermarkets, banks, and many specialty shops are in the area. Brown University is also located near the Governor. The area has much charm due to the fact that there are so many historical homes in the area.
